Bio
After graduating from the University of Wisconsin 1996, Nissa moved to Chicago to attend graduate school. Not having found the passion for her MBA program, she decided to pursue yet another degree, this one in fashion design.

While still a sophomore in the program, she launched her first line called Nissa Designs. As a guest designer of Gen Art at the InStyle Magazine show, Nissa’s pieces were quickly snatched up by Saks Corporations’ impressed buyers as well as boutiques around Chicago. All of this led to a feature article in Women’s Wear Daily as “One to Watch.”

From there Nissa shifted gears and moved to NYC to pursue a career in fashion advertising. Her passion for fashion and design ultimately culminated in her current line, Nissa Jewelry. Her pieces have been seen on Stacy London on TLC's What Not To Wear, in The New York Times, in New York Magazine and in Chicago Magazine.
